…they call us “rescue dogs”! How cute is that?! You want to know how I found out? Someone linked to me on their blog and referred to me as a rescue dog. Pretty neat, huh? So… WHOM DO I RESCUE?!
Perhaps it is corporations that are in need of redemption. Many humans believe that it is corporations who have done damage in the global society– so, even though some humans are going through a lot, it is actually the corporations that need the saving.
But I don’t know if just one rescue dog can do it. For example, does big industry even want to talk about renewable solutions? The first step in rescuing another, oddly enough, is that the other must want to be rescued. They’re dead in the water if they can’t get past that point. Actually, you might even be drowned yourself during the rescue attempt.
Is redemption possible? I hope so. Here’s to the day when all corporations do an about-face, fix their messes, then fully compensate for their damages, then simply evolve with the rest of the human species, and ultimately convert our nation’s economy and infrastructure to sustain life, not consume it.
