unconstitutional

this is what a violation of the PA Constitution looks like... so long, Article I, Section 27, so long...

Perhaps my constitution isn’t the best. And what about the Commonwealth of PA’s constitution?… how good is it? Lately, it seems like PA’s constitution just isn’t holding things together…

For example, only a half million of our 4.5 million acres of public land is protected from oil and gas drilling. (UPDATE 28 Oct 11: You can pretty much drill anywhere now.) This, despite Article I of our state’s constitution:

Natural Resources and the Public Estate
Section 27.

The people have a right to clean air, pure water, and to the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment. Pennsylvania’s public natural resources are the common property of all the people, including generations yet to come. As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people. (http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Constitution.html)
